Same! I hope this thing goes on longer than a game i played where all you do is 4 acts and 2 bosses it was easy

I fixed Splice's window. Its an actual window now. And it even changes depending on the time of day.

I have now finished the central area of Green Flower City. All that remains are the insides of Speedy and Violet's houses, The western area, and the beach side. I'll finish Station Square Road when the time comes when you have to go to Station Square.

Well, I've gotten farther in the story. I'm gonna show you some evening screenshots of where I'm at.

JUST loaded my game. Thats a temporary save point there. Something's coming up.

Hm? Why not? Because this place is reeeaaally shady.

This is at the side of the building. He just heard something.

Lol. I love how he sidles. Only problem with it is that he's too far on the wall...

Meeting up with an old friend.

Uh oh. These guys here spell 2 words: Bad News.

While she runs, Splice stays to fight. Don't want them sounding the alarm.

And the battle begins! This is the first mini boss.

Thanks. I'm glad that I've gotten started on the story. But soon there won't be any story updates for a while since I'm gonna have to work extra hard on the city and finish it before I progress any further. Doing so is mandatory before progressing anyfurther. Infact, I can't progress at all without finishing it.

The other day I tried out two things that would be used later in the game. The first one was getting mail in your mailbox. As the story progresses, you'll sometimes get a letter in the mailbox infront of your house from people you've met along your journey or people related to the people you've met. For instance,

This letter is from Meryl, Speedy's mother. She thanks you for helping Speedy out in the game (which is how he joins your party) and wishes you luck in stopping Dr. Eggman.
Pop Quiz! Who was the person who drew that picture of Speedy's mother? (Note, She was renamed to Meryl, used to be Speedin.)

The second thing I was working on was a treasure detecting skill. Can only be used by Frost or Icicle. "Power Star: Detect."

Pretty neat, huh? It shows which treasures are in a treasure chest, and which ones are hidden away someplace and not exactly in a chest.

Yep, It works. There's the chest alright.

The first letter won't arrive until after you've already gotten Tails in your party, which is in the Mystic Ruins. And Frost won't join your party until a little later afterwards. Or, rather, you can't get him until then. Remember that he's optional. So these things are currently on hold. I just wanted to see if/how they would work.

Expect a late, yet large update. I've been having a hard time doing things in some kind of order lately. A lot's been going on. I've got a lot on my mind. But soon things will start calming down and I can probably work a little faster on my game. I think what I really need is a full night's sleep. Since I've been going out so much lately,(sometimes multiple times a day.) I've been getting to bed late.

But with my mom's laptop finally in working order again, I can work a lot more efficiently. I can work on little things there, but it would really help a lot.

I've been getting ideas for mainly the story lately. But its for how the ending would work out. I only wrote down the backstory that slowly gets revealed throughout the game. (Events that took place before the game.) I've gotten into the writing mood finally, but I feel like I have no place to write it at all. Since I have no place to write it down, it kinda unmotivated me for actually working on my game. So thats one reason the next update will be late. When I DO write out the story, very few people will get to read it. infact, probably only 3 other than myself. Sorry 'bout that, I can't spoil the game to everyone. I need someone besides myself to look over it and tell me how I've done.

Hopefully by the next update, I can show you more of Green Flower City. And for wishful thinking, a completed GFC.

This looks awesome! That mailbox feature thingy is very neat and so is the Treasure detecting thing

About the picture..was it a CT member? If it was, perhaps it was CWAC or Destiny?

Hm..Not really an update, Just something I thought I'd take note of.

While I was doing a test battle, I had Smash use his skill "Gather Power". But All the other times I had used it, it didn't really have much of an effect. I just used it this time for the heck of it.

But when He attacked, (note, Smash had his ultimate weapon equipped and was at level 99, the amount of damage he had been doing was atleast 1,000. At most 2,000.) I was shocked. He did about 6,000 damage with each hit.
But when he got weakened, (about 25% of HP or less.) He started doing his normal attack power. When I tried using the skill again, it acted as if I already did it and said "Miss". So I healed him, and he started doing 6,000 damage again.

This was very interesting to me, and I'm gonna be conducting some tests with this. I'm gonna have to find a way to tone it down too, otherwise it will make fights too easy with him.

This is the music for a boss that I plan to make in the game. Or rather, a series of bosses one right after the other.

Okay, I don't know how my brother did it, but I was just lucky this time. He somehow beefed up all the midi's so that they actually sounded Good, and like MP3's almost. So, I atfirst tried to convert the midi file of a Sonic 2 boss remix I had archived from long ago, but that didn't work. So I then decided to record it. Sound Recorder doesn't get good quality, so I used my trusty Wave Pad. That worked just perfectly, and then I mixed the music together with my pal Daz' remix of the same midi from a little while ago. This video is the results.

Okay, Bear with me here. Kyle's near completion and Cymbeline is now a decently playable character. (Meaning you can start and end a battle with her.) I don't have anything else to show yet, 'cause its not all ready. Trust me though, Kyle's gonna be a big update. He's changed a lot. You already got to see a sneak peak of him in the Death Animations, and some screenshots before. Cymbeline will have another status report soon like the last video I showed to Daz and Cymbeline. But of course that would mean that I'd have to work on Daz some too. Don't worry, I'll have his stuff done soon.

And also, I will be doing a gameplay video soon.
